01 Nov 2017
It has been a productive start to Term 4 at Moorefield Girls with our Year 12 students embarking on HSC examinations, Year 11 students starting their HSC courses, and other year groups completing yearly assessment tasks. Our Year 12 students have walked into their exams with confidence and we are so proud of their positive attitudes and preparation.
I am leading a great school, where it is evident every day in what we do that we are inspiring our young women. I recently asked a Year 7 student to write a welcome message for our 2018 Year 7 students, and this is what she wrote:
Moorefield Girls is the place to be,
We learn, we create, and you will see,
Our phenomenal teachers and staff stand by,
To inspire us Girls to succeed and fly!

A couple of reminders for parents and carers:
Please do not drive into the school to drop off or pick up your daughter at the start/end of the day. This is due to safety issues on our school grounds. Parents can meet their child on Marshall Street or Lachal Avenue.
Outstanding subject fees for 2017 will need to be paid before the end of the year. Do not hesitate to contact me (natalie.hale@det.nsw.edu.au or 9587 6095) if you need financial assistance with this matter.
Hope to see you at our final P&C meeting on Wednesday 8th November at 6.30pm.
Ms N Hale, Principal
