Careers Advisory Service (CAS)
Year 12 students and parents can access the CAS from Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th December. This free service will have careers advisers available via phone or website to answer any enquiries you may have about clarifying courses, employment opportunities, career pathways and training options. GoIT @ Westpac Work Experience Program
It is wonderful to see our students taking a proactive role in sourcing career related opportunities. Pooja, in Year 11, attended the GoIT Work Experience Program in the April break and was invited to attend the second session of that program in the September break. She was able to hear from influential speakers about the roles women are undertaking in IT settings, and to network with Westpac corporate staff:
‘GoIT Girls @Westpac was an inspiring experience which enabled me to develop my skills in areas including team work, communication and leadership. I met many inspiring people during the two days at Westpac Barangaroo and the Kogarah office. This was truly an amazing opportunity!' Pooja, Year 11
Pooja has offered to assist any students in Years 9 & 10 who would like to apply for this program in 2018.
